I have a blackberry pearl and I downloaded a custom ring tone. I want that ring tone to be the ring tone for ALL of my contacts. Do I have to go through and set that as the ring tone for each contact individually, or is there a way that I can set the ring tone for all the contacts at the same time?
Before i got my blackberry, i noticed that when i talked to certain people, the background noise was always very loud. I did not realize or think it could be a blackberry issue until i got mine! Now people tell me the noise in the background, ie running water or even driving in the car is noisy. i like the palm phones, but had problems with connections in my home, so i was told the BB is actually a better phone device. I have a bluetooth but not sure if that helps that much. Help!
sorry…i failed to mention that i did try turning the volume all the way down…hmmm…
How do you export Contacts from your computer to your new Blackberry?
PDAs & Handhelds Komentarze (2) »This is considering you’ve already moved data over from the old blackberry using desktop manager (but not including contacts) and you only want to move the contacts from MS outlook to the BB. The contacts can either come from MS outlook or the saved .pst file on a memory stick. What’s the easiest way to do this?
I’m getting a new cellphone soon but, I can’t decide between the iphone & the blackberry pearl.
I love the iphone: how it looks, how it works, & all its cool features. But also I’m scared that it can get stolen.
The blackberry pearl is cool & love all its features but it looks a little to primitive. THe blackberry i want is from sprint. I like the features that it can record videos & actually zoom.
Also wich one has a better plan?
I just purchased a Lexus 440H which has a cool blue tooth hands free phone system. I have a Blackberry 7100G phone and my wife has the Razr, both Cingular. I can’t figure out how to transfer the phone book information via bluetooth from either phone into the Lexus phone book. I successfully paired both phones and can call from either, but have to dial manually. I tried using my laptop which has bluetooth and a way to transmit Outlook Phone numbers, but my PC and Lexus do not want to pair up (I think the Lexus is only looking for phones). Help!
They do not support file transfers between device. This is something that I value with my Treo, so switching to a Blackberry may not be such a good idea. So I’m wondering why Blackberry would not offer this with there smartphone. It also isn’t just Blackberry, some other smartphones do not offer it as well.
