I sent a lot of text messages, on my new Blackberry Curve and some of them will not delete. I try to use the delete prior option but the messages will not go away. What can I do?

We are on the same network, Verizon, and he said that in order for the black berry to work, you would need to get the blackberry data package that cost an extra 30 bucks a month.
